About this trip
This Retreat is for women interested in prioritizing their wellbeing. Reconnecting with your mom/daughter.

About the Retreat Center:
This Retreat is a unique vacation rental property on the Caribbean Island of Aruba. Inspired by the tropical villas of Southeast Asia, its design artfully blends cozy interiors of the Main House with a large tropical garden that surrounds it, opening the house to majestic rock formations set within a lush landscape adorned by a natural cave, two swimming pools, and seven waterfalls.

There are many vacation homes in Aruba, but none is like Bali Retreat. When you pass through the hand-carved teak door of the retreat, you leave behind the hoards of sun-burned tourists, tacky restaurant chains, and gaudy beach resorts of the Caribbean, and emerge in the exotic paradise of Southeast Asia

.

As you take a stroll among the awe-inspiring, million-year-old granite boulders looming above you, by the picturesque pools with crashing waterfalls, and under the lush canopy of tropical foliage, the enchanting, whimsical ambience will make you feel as if you were magically transported to the faraway kingdoms of Thailand or Malaysia, or perhaps to one of the idyllic islands of Indonesia.

If you seek rest and relaxation, you’ll discover that nothing quiets the mind better than floating in the Garden Pool listening to the clamor of the waterfalls, reading a book under rustling palm trees while suspended in one of the hammocks in the Hammock Cove, meditating between two giant rocks in the Meditation Hollow, writing your journal in the tranquility of the Garden Lounge, gazing at the stars in the Sky Bed, taking a break from the afternoon heat in the cool Buddha Cave, or showering under a full moon in one of the open-air bathrooms with only the tropical song of cicadas as the backdrop.

If you wish to invigorate and strengthen your body, you can swim in the Indoor Pool under ancient Buddha statues protruding from an imposing rock wall and two waterfalls cascading into the lap pool’s crystal waters. You can work out in the open-air gym, play volleyball or badminton on the white sand Beach Court, practice yoga or Zumba in the Yoga Pavilion, engross yourself in a game of chess in the Giant Chess Nook, play ping-pong in the Table Tennis Alcove on a custom-built table, or enjoy a game of billiards in the Main Hall.

I had an uplifting weekend with my girlfriends and made a lot of nice connections. I went with the intention of healing and freeing myself of worry and I am working on that but I really felt like I was also there to listen and help others heal. The food, company and agenda were fantastic. I will absolutely attend again in the future! The sound bath was amazing. I can’t wait to do that again! Also always enjoy Jocelyn’s mediumship!

Jocelyn's retreat adventures are WONDERFUL! This was my second retreat with her and like the first, it was well organized, welcoming and the perfect girls weekend with my best friend. If you have any anxiety about being in new spaces or around new people, please do not let that deter you from experiencing a retreat with Jocelyn. Everyone is welcoming and friendly and whether it's your first retreat or your fifth, you will learn something new in a safe & relaxing environment. The food is also a highlight worth mentioning: having healthy, well made food provided daily made it easy to really relax and not worry about anything. The space/house we stayed in also provided some great opportunities for both group activities but also some privacy - a quiet cup of coffee on the rocking chair outside, some time to journal on my rooms private balcony or some time spent in the hot tub/pool were all essential to my experience. The group activities are well explained and Jocelyn provides an open environment that invites questions, concerns, etc. and she provides helpful information packets with more detail about subjects or activities being discussed. During this retreat we did Reiki training and it was a really great experience. At both of these retreat's I've been to, there has a been a sound bath experience and that alone would be the whole reason to go back: Nicole was amazing and provided such a relaxing, calming environment before bed and also treated us to so much love, healing & genuine conversations throughout the weekend. I cannot recommend experiencing a retreat with Jocelyn enough! Go alone or bring a friend - I've done both and it's great if you need some "me time" but also really awesome to experience with a friend or loved one.

I would have never found this fabulous location and experience without Jocelyn! Pictures of the accommodations can’t possibly do it justice. Care and so much detail goes into ever corner of this place. The yoga places where we heals our meditations and daily movement made those times magical. Our excursions and special trips were varied and perfect!! Highly recommend!!

My experience at the Spark of Light Shamanic Healing Retreat in Tennessee was nothing short of profound. Nestled amidst the serene beauty of Tennessee's landscapes, this retreat offered a perfect blend of spiritual rejuvenation and natural tranquility. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed into a warm and nurturing environment. The schedule was thoughtfully designed, balancing meditation sessions, transformative fire ceremonies, and enriching vegan meals that nourished both body and soul. The hikes through the lush surroundings were invigorating, providing moments of connection with nature that were deeply therapeutic. One of the highlights was the massage session on the side of a mountain in the Shala, where the soothing touch combined with breathtaking views created a truly immersive healing experience. The Cacao ceremony was another standout, guiding us through a journey of introspection and heart-opening connection. Both Jocelyn and the owners from Seven Springs Retreats were knowledgeable and compassionate guides who infused each activity with meaning and intention. Their expertise in shamanic practices added a layer of authenticity and depth to the entire experience, allowing us to explore and heal in ways I had never imagined. I left the Spark of Light Retreat feeling profoundly renewed and inspired. It's a place where healing isn't just a concept but a tangible journey that unfolds with every moment spent in its embrace. Whether you're seeking inner peace, spiritual growth, or simply a reprieve from the hectic pace of life, these retreats that Jocelyn customizes- offers a sanctuary where magic truly happens. I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to have participated in this retreat and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone ready to embark on a transformative journey of healing and self-discovery.
